The Blue Pumpkin , Siem Reap

The Blue Pumpkin , One of Cambodia's best loved cafes and One of Cambodia's most popular cafe restaurants, Blue Pumpkin's offers more than delectable pastries and tasty snacks .

Just steps away from Old Market, this restaurant/bakery offers fresh bakery and Danishes, tasty and fine pastries, smooth and yummy ice cream and sorbet, all prepared by French Pastry Chef, and also a selection of drinks and coffee, breakfast, even some pasta, salads and snacks .

humble beginnings started with a small shop near Phsa Chas Market in Siem Reap, and has now expanded nationwide to include 14 branches, two central kitchens and over 300 staff . The Blue Pumpkin is the first locally created brand concept with a national presence ,  their recipes to uphold both Khmer and French traditions by creating a synergy between Western and Asian cuisine .

Sit on the large shadow-terrace on a lively street, or step up to the cool air-conditioned lounge upstairs, with super-comfy couches. Eat lying on their "beds" with an all white setting. Quick and tasty food, at very reasonable price .

Almost 100 per cent of staffs waitresses and chefs are all Cambodians .

I am really a foodie and my sweet tooth craves for a dessert every time I eat meals. One thing on my bucket list when I recently went to Siem Reap was this dessert capital . One thing i like aside from the sweet treats is the ambiance . Great place to hang out and Great favors , especially is the Durian ice Cream . Highly recommend!
